Wearing Work Uniforms With Style

If you are required to dress in uniform on field assignments or to wear work clothes while laboring with mechanical tools, the ability to do so and still look smart and properly dressed will be an advantage.

You must wear a coverall and gloves when working on cars or on a paint job or on similar work, along with safety headgear, masks and boots if necessary to protect your clothes and for your own safety. Paints, grease and oil are very difficult to wash away and may even require special and sometimes expensive cleaning materials or cleaning methods and the coveralls will do a good job of protecting your clothes and spare you of all the trouble.

Professionals too, or even more so, are required to dress smartly while on the job. How well, or bad, you carry your clothes will be associated with your business personality and will have an effect n your business dealings. Again the rule is to keep your work or business attire simple and appropriate in style and color, clean and neat looking, with nothing loud or gaudy.

If you have to wear a two piece ensemble, a light colored long sleeve shirt buttoned down will look smart and business-like. A solid colored blouse or dress shirt would be appropriate or possibly one with thin, light-colored pin stripes.

Sometimes, it gets very hot and short sleeves are a must for work uniforms. Choose shirts with cotton or polyester materials in neutral colors that do not absorb light. In the case of the ladies, they can be comfortable and look smart wearing knee or ankle-length skirts in business cuts.

Men in business suits or in their uniform shirts of course would look better with a tie. If you aren't adept at tying one, there are plenty of great clip-on styles available. Both tie types will look the same so choosing either one will not be a issue. For women, a neckerchief or scarf neatly secured under the collar with a bow showing in the front would be a classy move for a work uniform. If your company has a theme logo, try to coordinate colors with your choice of accessory. Accessories are add-ons only, so it must not be oversized or too elaborate and garish. With regards to the hair, the ladies can have it in pony tail, or braid it or use pins to keep it away from the face so that it will not interfere with their work.

If your work environment is more casual, you still must maintain a professional appearing work uniform. In casual work environments, wear short sleeve polo shirts with your name clipped or sewn in the designated spot, and during warm days you can wear printed polo shirts or with Hawaiian designs.

Pick school uniforms online with the right combination of luxury and style.
