Is Using Social Media on Holiday Weird?

Let's be honest. Many of us use social media daily, if not hourly. Whether it's updating your status every few minutes or tweeting your friends, the draw of online social interaction is sometimes too much for. While they are a fun, harmless pastime, using social media too much could be affecting you life in an adverse way. You may start to value using Facebook over seeing people in real life, or base your life around Facebook, I've heard people arrange to go o a social outing, just so they can take photos for Facebook.

This I'm sure you'll agree would have been termed odd behavior as recently as five years ago. It is telling about the gravitas of social media site slike Facebook and Twitter on society when sitting online for hours on end is seen as a normal pastime activity Orlando holidays, or wherever else we happen to be going.

The last holiday I went on with three Facebook-obsessed friends and they were on it at every available moment. They were on their phones looking at Facebook while sunbathing, updating their status with banal utterances like 'sun bathing lol' and then checking every few minutes to see if someone had commented.

Everything we enetered the hotel reception they went straight to the fixed computers with their Euros and went on Facebook from there. Unbelievable. we would venture out for a night at the bars on our Florida holidays and they shoot snaps of each other, immediately uploading them. Strange as it sounds, mu friends were more concerned with what they were doing on Facebook rather than what they were actually doing in real life. I mean do you think I wouldn't be honest? I'd never be let on flights to Orlando again!
